Norman Duffett, President
Norman Duffett is an expert investment banker with over 25 years of experience in the selling and buying of companies as well as raising debt and equity. Norm has advised on over $4 billion of transactions. In addition to Orca Capital, he has worked as an investment banker at D.A. Davidson and Bank of America. His career has taken him from Wall Street to Silicon Valley to the Pacific Northwest. Norm is on the board of Ecotrust Forest Management and the Stanford Business School Alumni in Oregon. He holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University and an MBA from Stanford Business School.
Randy Moe, Managing Director
Randy's extensive background in investment banking includes being a Director in Citigroup's Technology Investment Banking Group in Palo Alto, CA. Randy has advised more than $10 billion of transactions. He has worked with a broad range of technology companies encompassing the storage, semiconductor, networking and software industries. A native Oregonian, Randy received his M.B.A. from the Anderson School at UCLA and his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering (Aerospace) from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
Elizabeth Steinhardt Duffett, Senior Vice President
Liz Duffett is a seasoned corporate strategist and business planner experienced in entrepreneurship and in marketing companies. She began her career at the Boston Consulting Group, later ran internal consulting for a division of Baxter International, and was a marketer for Cooper Laboratories. Liz has run her own marketing and strategy consulting business, ESD Consulting, mapping and facilitating complex client strategies. She co-founded Orca Capital Corporation in 1991. She holds a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford Business School.
Elizabeth Brown, Senior Vice President
Liz Brown has been a banker over the last 24 years, both in New York City and locally. Her numerous positions have ranged from being Group Head & Vice President for Chemical Bank in New York to being Senior Vice President at ShoreBank Pacific, and Vice President both at Bank of the Northwest and West One Bank. She has deep knowledge of commercial lending and sustainability issues. Liz received her M.B.A. from Fordham University, and her B.A. in Economics from Boston College.
